Rewinding 14 years, Alice River-Cripps fresh out of university & uncertain of her future, found herself irresponsibly partying her way across the states. Alice ended up in Mexico with only $60 in her pocket, a yoga mat for a bed and the stars for a ceiling… 4 bikes, 11 jobs she couldn’t keep, some jelly wrestling, lots of tequila, 1 night sleeping in a hyper baric chamber in a dive shop window and a mild lobster addiction… Alice found her vocation working for some local Mayan jewellers.
Alice took on many jobs- one being a Chicken Farmer in Lincolnshire where much to her dismay was given the nickname ‘Posh Totty’. Alice relocated to Brighton and in 2004 Posh Totty Designs was born! 10 years on, (1 husband, and 2 little ones in tow) Alice and her growing team of 40+ are now firmly on the map as the go to company for Personalised jewellery and gifts.
